Happy Monday! I hope all of you had a good Easter! It certainly was a different Easter than we've ever had before! I sure missed the smell of the Easter flowers in the sanctuary. That's one of my favorite things about this time of year. I also missed all of you, of course. The wonderful thing is that we know that Easter will come again, and no matter what, Jesus is still risen! I came across this verse from Isaiah 41:10, and thought it was especially meaningful right now: Don't panic. I'm with you. There's no need to fear for I'm your God. I'll give you strength. I'll help you. I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. (Message) I encourage you to keep this and similar passages in mind as we continue to see more people affected by the virus. I have a question for you today: did you do anything new or different this Easter because of COVID19 that you enjoyed so much you are considering making it an annual activity? Share your response with all of us by clicking "reply all." Take care and see you when this is over! Mary |
