Donations can be dropped in the offering plate on Sunday morning, dropped off at the church office weekday mornings, or mailed to the church via the U.S. Postal Service. You may designate donations for either of our two primary funds. Undesignated donations are applied to the General Fund.
The General Fund pays for day to day expenses, such as utilities, taxes, insurance, and building and grounds maintenance, among others.
The Capital Fund of Christ United Methodist Church is for the immediate purpose of replacing the cedar shingles on the church. The former siding was installed in 1963 (over 55 years ago) and had to be replaced. This fund will remain active after the shingle project is paid to provide for emergency expenses and future updates, such as church building and parsonage updates, air conditioning, repaving the parking lot, and other capital improvements.
